Digital Media Animation (Online) NPA @ SCQF Level 5

Introduction

Animation is a versatile marketing and communication tool. It can be used for a variety of purposes and instantly tells the viewer so much about your business.

Animation appeals to people of all ages and backgrounds and is an amazing and engaging way to communicate facts and figures; tell your story, who you are, what you do and why you matter; and show the human side of your organisation.

New statistics on marketing in 2019 identified that 83% of marketers believe that 'moving image marketing' is growing significantly in importance, and that 53% of customers engage with a brand after watching a video on social media. People love visual content and can process visuals 60,000 times faster than text, animation in particular grabs the customers attention in less than 1/10th of a second!
