This is a theory based course where a considerable proportion of your learning is online. The course will help you develop an understanding of the skills, principles and qualities needed to work in the sector as well as legislation and protection issues, alongside supporting and enabling people to live independent lives.

You will need to be an organised and independent learner who can work with minimum direction as the NPA in Reablement award is entirely online. For the Skills for Work Health and Social Care award you will be mostly learning in class and online lessons and for a little of the time you will be participating in simulated practice and role play in our state of the art Care Hub.

The course may start in June 2021 and finish in May 2020

Attendance will be Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon throughout the year. The majority of your programme will be online with attendance at the care hub for practical towards the end of the programme.
