Dental charges for under-26s dropped in all of Scotland!
26 August 2021
Young people under the age of 26 in Scotland are now eligible for FREE NHS dental treatment under the new Scottish government ruling fulfilling its election pledge to scrap dental charges.
You do not have to opt-in as this has instantly been taken into effect. This will also be available to people who have started NHS dental treatment before their 26th birthday.
With this decision coming into effect thanks to £12.5 million investment, it means 600,000 young people in Scotland under the age of 26 will now receive free NHS dental care.
