There are a number of funding programmes which employers and individuals can access to help pay for training and skills development. Take a look at them below.
Flexible Workforce Development Fund
Benefit from between £5,000 (for SMEs) and £15,000 (for UK Apprenticeship Levy Payers) of Scottish Government funding towards training your staff
Take advantage of between £1,000 and £5,000 in grants to develop workplace processes or develop a new product or service. Note, Innovation Vouchers cannot currently be used to pay for staff training.
NHS Dumfries and Galloway and Dumfries and Galloway college have worked in collaboration using The Flexible Workforce Development Fund to provide our staff with a number of development opportunities over the years.
