Introduction
First aiders play a vital role in ensuring workplace safety. In line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, employers are legally obliged to have measures in place that guarantee prompt care for employees who experience injury or sudden illness at work. This includes appointing an appropriate number of trained first aiders and ensuring they receive suitable first aid instruction.
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is a formally accredited qualification that equips individuals with the skills needed to respond effectively in urgent medical situations within the workplace. Tailored for employees tasked with delivering immediate care in emergencies, this certification also suits those involved in community or voluntary roles where basic first aid support may be required.
