At DGC, we know how important it is to keep your body and mind active. After a day of work or lessons, you can now take advantage of a wide range of free classes or taster sessions.
Come along and try out a new activity with our friendly team of experts and enjoy meeting new people, learning something new and having fun!

Taster Sessions
Our Active Campus Coordinator also regularly organises taster sessions to help introduce our college community to new activities to help keep us all active.
March’s taster session is Pickleball on Tuesday March 12th! Come to the sports hall between 12.45 – 13.25 and have a go at this up-and-coming sport!

The Workout
If classes aren’t for you, we also offer free access to the gym at our Dumfries campus for all staff and students. You will need to register and have an induction before you can use the gym, but there will be staff on hand to help you with this.
Opening times
The gym is open to use in between DGC sports classes:
Monday to Friday (daytime): 7am-9 am and 12.30pm – 1.25pm
Monday and Wednesday (evening): 4.15pm – 5.45pm
Tuesday and Thursday (evening): 3pm – 7.45pm
