Part time further education : 16 – 17 years of age
Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA)
- Under 18 years at the start date of the course
- Studying a part time non advanced course
- Not already receiving EMA for a full time course
- Living with parents or legal guardians
EMA weekly payment is £30, means-tested as shown:
- 1 child: £0 – £24,421
- 2+ children: £0 – £26,884
