Students have given Dumfries and Galloway College a huge thumbs-up after taking part in a recent satisfaction survey.
As part of the college’s early satisfaction survey, DGC students were invited to rate their satisfaction from 1 star (very poor) to 5 stars (great) ‑ and they gave the college an overall score of 4.5 out of 5!
Almost 750 students took part in the survey, which asked them to rate areas such as ‘Feeling Welcome and Valued’, ‘Learning Experience So Far’, ‘Our Staff’, ‘Places and Platforms for Learning’ and ‘One Thing We Could Do Better’.
College staff can rightly feel proud that they top scored out of all the categories with an impressive 4.7 out of 5 mark from learners.
Overall in Scotland, student satisfaction is on the rise, according to the statistics published by SFC in their national survey. This year, the survey was carried out over an eight-week period between 7 March and 29 April.
In total, nine out of 10 full-time students were satisfied with their college experience: 31,970 college students in Scotland took part in the survey. DGC students in this national survey scored the college highly, with 91% further education learners feeling satisfied, while 88% of higher education alumni were content.
