Dumfries and Galloway College Principal Joanna Campbell has won a prestigious award from the Institute of Directors (IoD).
The Principal was presented with the Regional Director of the Year – South of Scotland prize at the IoD Director of the Year Awards 2021.
The awards celebrate the talent, leadership, achievement, and success that leaders have brought to their organisations throughout the year.
Sponsored by Badenoch and Clark and held in partnership with a range of stakeholders, including the Scottish Government, Zero Waste Scotland, and Epilepsy Scotland, the awards were presented at a ceremony hosted by radio presenter Shereen Nanjiani.
Dumfries and Galloway College is delighted that the IoD and their judging panel have chosen to recognise the hard work, vision, and dedication of its Principal in this way and sends its congratulations to her and all the other winners.
Principal Joanna Campbell said:
“I am honoured and delighted to have received this award.
“To be able to join together with so many other innovative, driven, and inspiring leaders from across the country to celebrate the success that we and our teams have enjoyed was a true pleasure.
“I would like to thank everyone in my team, and our entire college community, for working with me to make this possible.”
