Introduction to Built Environment @ SCQF Level 5
The purpose of the course is to develop the general skills, technical knowledge, understanding and employability skills needed within the sector. If you are interested in a career in the construction industry then this is the course for you, this is an exciting opportunity to take that first step to a career that is both satisfying and rewarding. Cyber Security NPA @ SCQF Level 5
The course provides foundation knowledge and skills in Cyber Security. Students will develop skills relevant to the use of Data Security, Digital Forensics and Ethical Hacking so they become aware of the potential misuses of, and unauthorised access to computer systems, but also who uses these competences for legal and ethical purposes.Find out more

During the course you will learn a range of photography skills, techniques and digital editing processes in order to develop your creativity and technical skills. The course also enables you to understand photographic work to a more in-depth level, to evaluate your own work and the work of others.
Foundation Apprenticeship - Creative And Digital Media @ SCQF Level 6
You will learn about many different types of careers that are available in the Creative Industries but with a particular focus on Digital Media and Marketing, using both traditional and emergent platforms. You will learn to effectively research and develop ideas and to work collaboratively with peers from across the region and potential employers. You will have the opportunity to discover, first hand, what soft skills and technical skills employers are really looking for today.Find out more

The Early Education and Childcare National 5 Skills for Work Course is for students interested in pursuing a career in working with children. It is an introductory qualification that develops some of the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed for work in the early learning and childcare sector. Automotive Skills SFW @ SCQF LEVEL 4
This qualification is designed to engage and motivate pupils who are interested in learning about the motor vehicle industry. It is aimed at learners who prefer and respond to ‘hands-on’ learning. Therefore, the course has a practical approach to assessment and includes many problem solving techniques which will stimulate and interest learners.
Electrical Engineering HNC @ SCQF Level 7

Make-Up and Beauty Skills NPA @ SCQF Level 4
The aim of this course is to give you the experience of a salon environment and the opportunity to learn about the different roles and responsibilities in beauty therapy. This course is aimed at senior phase schools age 16 plus who are still at school and are thinking of embarking on beauty career. Completing the Level 4 units would be a fantastic transition from school into college and would support a young person get ready for employment within the beauty industry. You will be learning beauty practical skills which includes facials nails and Makeup. This will equip you with the skills and confidence to apply for beauty to develop employability skills and attitudes valued by employers.Find out more

This course is aimed at senior phase pupils who are still at school and are thinking of embarking on a hairdressing or beauty career. This is a theory based course where a considerable proportion of your learning is online. This National Progression Award (NPA) introduces learners to techniques that are important in professional cookery.

Foundation Apprenticeship – Food And Drink Technologies @ SCQF Level 6
This apprenticeship gives you the chance to learn about the principles of food science and food safety, from developing marketable food products for today’s consumer to the care, legislation and processes involved in creating those products.
