Facilities Services @ SCQF Level 5

Introduction

This SVQ is designed for individuals who are currently employed in a facilities or workplace services role, such as facilities assistant, caretaker, cleaning supervisor or estates support staff.

Upon successful completion, you will gain a recognised qualification which demonstrates that you have the skills, knowledge and practical abilities required to carry out your role effectively and to industry standards.

Entry Requirements

  • Be employed in a facilities based role
  • Must be carrying out relvant tasks and activities which will allow you to naturally gather evidence for your SVQ portfolio
  • Have completed your probationary period within your current work role
  • Demonstrate an ability to work at SCQF level 5 or above

Course Content

  • Establish and monitor the facilities required by a client
  • Develop productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility
  • Plus 5 optional units

Assessments

Assessments will be ongoing with an Assessor coming out to the workplace to carry out practical observations.
