Introduction
Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 specifies that in Scotland the holder of a personal licence must undergo refresher training within 5 years of the date of their personal licence being issued to ensure their licence remains valid. This refresher course is also suitable for people who need to renew their licence at 10 years.
Every personal licence holder will be required to produce a certificate to the licensing board that originally issued their personal licence as evidence that they have all passed the Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders Refresher

Assessments
Multiple Choice Assessment at college campus – Stranraer or Dumfries. Important Notice for All Course Attendees To attend and complete the course, you must bring valid photographic identification. Acceptable forms of ID include:
- A valid UK passport
- A full or provisional UK driving licence
