Introduction
Aimed at those who need to, in their line of work, to safely isolate single phase and three phase electrical supplies and equipment.
This course will teach candidates how to isolate such supplies, confirm they are safe to work on and prevent them from being turned back on without their agreement.

Entry Requirements
Candidates must provide evidence of the following
Formal craft qualification e.g. National or Scottish Vocational Qualification
- (NVQ/SVQ) Level 2 or 3 in heating engineering or plumbing or electrical trades,
Or
- working towards a course in heating engineering or plumbing which will lead to a formal qualification, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 heating and ventilation or plumbing or electrical installations,
or
- have a number of years’ experience of conventional heating engineering or plumbing and electrical installations. (please provide evidence of this on a headed letter)
Important Notice for All Course Attendees To attend and complete the course, you must bring valid photographic identification. Acceptable forms of ID include:
- A valid UK passport
- A full or provisional UK driving licence
