Our training salons offer a range of hair, beauty, nail and holistic treatments at competitive prices. Open to the public, students and staff during term time from October to May, appointments provide valuable hands-on experience for our learners in a professional salon environment. All treatments are carried out by students using industry-standard equipment and reputable products, under the close supervision of qualified Lecturers.
As our salons operate within a learning environment, the availability of specific treatments and appointment may vary throughout the academic year to reflect class timetables and training requirements.
Please note: A skin test is required at least 48 hours before any hair colouring treatment, and a patch test is required at least 48 hours before eye enhancement treatments. We are unable to offer appointments to anyone under 16 years of age.

Treatments
All appointments include a consultation. As treatments are carried out in a training environment, appointment times may be longer than in a commercial salon, with some hair appointments taking up to four hours. Please allow yourself sufficient time for the appointment.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible. When booking, we may ask for various details from you, we appreciate your cooperation in providing any information required to prevent any inconvenience.
Supporting our Students
As a training environment, treatments are carried out by students developing their skills and experience. We appreciate your patience and support as they gain valuable practical experience.
Please note: Lecturers do not provide treatments directly. Their role is to guide, support and supervise students throughout their training.
Cost
A small charge applies to treatments within our training salons. As prices vary depending on the treatment and the level of study of the student carrying it out, costs will be confirmed at the time of booking.
