Covid-19 Student Update
19 April 2022
Dear Dumfries and Galloway Student,
You will no doubt be aware that the legal requirement to wear face coverings in most indoor public spaces and on public transport has become guidance since the 18th April 2022. Whilst face coverings are no longer law does not mean that COVID has stopped spreading.
It is strongly recommended that face coverings continue to be worn where appropriate in indoor communal areas of our campuses. This is a sensible precaution to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
In College campuses the following mitigations will remain in place -
- We will provide hand sanitisers throughout the College campuses.
- Use CO2 monitors throughout the campuses to monitor air quality.
- Open windows as necessary to ensure effective ventilation.
In addition, there are changes to Test and Protect that can be found here
Regards
Douglas Dickson
Vice Principal
