Introduction

Sustainable development is defined as development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

There is an increasing focus on improving environmental performance for both individuals and companies. This course provides an understanding of sustainable development goals, the benefits of an environmental management system and how organisations can help prevent pollution.
