Introduction

This SVQ is suitable for: Individuals who work as part of a team involved in serving food & drink in restaurants, hotels, cafes & takeaways. As the SVQ is a competency based qualification the following applies: You will be allocated an assessor and you will work together to build a portfolio of evidence to show you are competent within the work role. The assessor will visit you at your workplace on a regular basis. The visits will include conducting assessments, planning future assessments, advising on portfolio development and supporting you as required.

Entry Requirements

You must be currently working in a hospitality establishment and be in a position to gather evidence at the required level.

Assessments

Assessments will be ongoing with an Assessor coming out to the workplace to carry out practical observations. Evidence is gathered and uploaded to an online portfolio.
